About Shooting Games
Shooting games test your aim and your nerves. Whether you are lining up a long-range sniper shot or fighting through waves of enemies, the best shooters reward accuracy, quick thinking and smart movement.
Types of shooting games
- Sniper games: hold your breath, account for distance and take the perfect shot.
- First-person and arena shooters: move, take cover and outgun opponents in fast rounds.
- Tank and vehicle battles: angle your cannon, calculate the arc and destroy enemy armour.
- Arcade and space shooters: dodge bullet patterns and blast everything on screen.
- Archery and target games: calm, precise shooting where every point matters.
Controls
First-person shooters usually use WASD to move, the mouse to aim and click to fire, with R to reload. Arcade shooters often only need the arrow keys. A mouse gives much better aim than a touchpad for most games here.
Tips
Aim for the head where the game rewards it, and reload before you need to, not when you are empty. Keep moving β standing still makes you an easy target. In upgrade-based games, improve accuracy and fire rate before buying bigger guns.
The shooting games on this page are cartoon or arcade style and free to play, with no download and no account needed.
