What is Fireboy and Watergirl: Forest Temple?
Forest Temple is the first game in the much-loved Fireboy and Watergirl series by Oslo Albet. The two heroes explore an ancient temple in search of diamonds. Each level is a puzzle you solve with teamwork: pull levers, push blocks and stand on buttons so the other character can get through.
The golden rule: Fireboy can't touch water and Watergirl can't touch fire. Green goo is deadly for both.
How to play
- Watergirl: move with W A S D.
- Fireboy: move with the arrow keys.
- Play as 2 players on one keyboard, or control both yourself.
- Get both characters to their exit doors. Collect red diamonds with Fireboy and blue diamonds with Watergirl.
Co-op tips
- Talk before you move. Most levels need one player to hold a button while the other passes. Agree who goes first.
- Watch the colours. Red pools are safe for Fireboy, blue pools for Watergirl. Green kills both.
- Go for speed later. Finish a level safely first, then replay it for diamonds and a better time.
- Playing solo? Move one character a short distance at a time so the other doesn't wander into danger.
