What is SnakeArea.io?

SnakeArea.io is an arcade snake game in the style of the classic .io arenas. You start as a small, hungry snake in a world full of rivals. Eat to grow, outsmart snakes bigger than you, and work your way through 10 stages, each filled with tougher opponents. It is kid-friendly, with no blood — just fast, tactical snake battles.

How to play

• Start small and move carefully around the arena.
• Devour smaller rivals to grow longer and stronger.
• Collect gold and spend it on upgrades to your speed, ferocity and stamina.
• Earn trophies to unlock the next stage, where the snakes are bigger and more aggressive.

The game is designed for desktop play; check the controls shown when the game loads.

Survival tips

1. Don't pick fights too early. At the start of a stage most snakes are bigger than you. Grow on easy targets first.
2. Use the edges. Open space in the middle of the map is where big snakes hunt. Stay near quieter areas while you are small.
3. Spend gold on stamina early. Being able to keep moving and boosting longer gets you out of trouble more often than raw speed.
4. Read your rivals. Snakes that turn sharply are about to chase. Move away at an angle instead of running in a straight line.
5. Come back stronger. If a stage feels impossible, replay earlier ones to collect more gold and upgrade first.
